Take A "Pieke" At This ...

Since seeing designer Pieke Bergmans' "Light Blubs", a collection of lighting made to look like it was melting and molding around tables and chairs, I've been fascinated with the rest of her work. She has an eye for design like nothing I've seen before; Bergmans' work truly brings meaning to the term "a piece of art". While browsing her collections, I came across a particular group of photos that I thought might be of some interest to you. Dubbed "Chanel No ?", Bergmans' collection of Chanel perfume bottles have been warped into beautiful artwork. These No. 5 bottles are not unlike the "Light Blubs"; they have been fired to look as if they are bending and melting. Forget statues and paintings; I want a bunch of "Chanel No ?" bottles on display in my house. For more information on Pieke Bergmans' artwork, please visit her website.
