We've seen some crazy shoes lately, but things are about to get a whole lot wierder. The new Fall trend? Heel-less shoes. Yes, you heard me right. Heel-less. In theory, there's a heel-less style for everyone. So you like the new knee-high boot trend? Check out these:
Antonio Berardi
Nina Ricci
Boots not for you? Try a nice, heel-less pair of pumps, like the ones below.
Antonio Berardi
Marc Jacobs
Nina Ricci
What do you think? Are you fearless enough to try the heel-less trend? Or do you think a little, ahem, less of this new trend than others? Share your opinion in a comment! I will leave you with this one last thought: what do you think of front-less shoes?
This so weird and awesome at the same time. I actually like the Antonio Berardis, even though I don't think I could ever manage to wear them. The front-less? Well that just looks even more uncomfortable than the heel-less. Still, awesome that these exist.
Hmmm that last pair is a nightmare. Sorry I love heels to much to go heel-less. Gotta say I think this is a fashion flop. Although the Marc Jacobs are pretty cute...I'd wear those.
hahah these are so silly! i love them. for me, a classic pair of peep toe slingbacks never go out of style. but why not mix it up a bit, right?? the MJ ones are quite gorgeous, i must say. xo, Lauren
the marc jacobs ones are cute and whimsical but the others? not sure. No matter what, they'd all be a nightmare to walk in. And the last two are kind of heinous. And defy the whole purpose of shoes. -indigo
I think they're great for the runway or if you're needing to make a statement for a big event, but for daytime use or just for an evening out in a restaurant/bar they're a bit too much. I'm also certain you won't be able to walk normally in those :) I guess it just looks like you're constantly walking on your toes like a ballerina, which makes me wonder how much support the heel gets. The frontless ones are hilarious though... haha. Isn't it basically like walking barefoot, considering hardly any of the shoe actually touches the ground? Awesome images... thanks for collecting these!
-i love the marc jacobs backwards heel but the rest are a bit dodgy. i just baffles my brain wondering at how people balance like that all day. great entry;D cx.
thanks for the comment a while back. mucho sweet. i think this trend is ridiculous. i saw victoria beckam wearing them a while back n still thought it was dumb. it looks unattractive to me and its hard enough wearing super high heels now they want us to do it without one all together. watever floats your boat but i still think its ugly.
These shoes are definently not for the faint of heart! Since my balance is not always the best I fear I might fall over, but the MJ ones are really cute.
Is it strange that I actually love the Nina Ricci shoes now. I'm actually thinking about a pair in black, but I heard that they won't be up for purchase. I don't know why, because some of them are actually practical.
Thank you so much for checking out my blog, Take Me Out to the Runway! I appreciate any feedback you can give me, and I enjoy reading each and every one of your comments. I will do my very best to respond to all of them!
Love the Marc Jacobs... the others are kinda scary!

ReplyDeleteI think the ones with no heel are soooo CUTE! The ones with no front though... uhuh I think that's trendless
