We've Got Floral Fever!

"We live not according to reason, but according to fashion." - Seneca (Roman philosopher, mid-1st century AD)

What's the perfect remedy for the winter blues? Florals, of course! Our favorite celebrities are rocking the runway adorned in the season's latest trend -- flowers, flowers, and more flowers. Straight from the pages of TeenVogue, floral fever has hit stars such as Olivia Palermo, Vanessa Carlton, Lily Allen, and Tang Wei. Take a look:

Now, for some floral patterns I've found on my own. Dolce&Gabbana's Tulip Print Silk Shantung Dress makes a statement in aqua and orange, priced at $2,450 at Nordstrom.

For a gorgeous black and white silk/cotton dress, try Max Mara's 'Alabama' Floral Print Belted Dress. Nordstrom prices it at $745. I love the detailing here!

For a pretty and cheap alternative, Forever21 (my favorite bargain store!) has come out with a gorgeous red and orange strapless dress for only $24.80. Try it with fun colored leggings and heels for a unique twist!

After an hour or so of searching, I finally found what I believe to be the Pick of the Day. Honestly, I really wanted to choose about 10 Picks of the Day, but that would defeat the whole purpose. So, after much consideration, I introduce to you my favorite floral piece!

Pick of the Day

Shoshanna's Watercolor Floral Strapless Dress
$350 on

I love it, I love it, I love it! The color combination is just perfect; not too flashy, not too drab. It's 100% silk, yet another plus. Take a look at the neckline -- excellent support, and very flattering. Try throwing a blazer over it during these cold winter months (hint, hint!). As always, it's been a pleasure to update you on today's fashion tip: oh, the power of flowers! I've decided to try and update every Sunday, so check back next week for a new trend!
