A Few Highly Alluring Shoes ...
Lately, a lot of my posts seem to be showcasing insane shoes that I find while surfing the internet. This post will be no exception. I'm obsessing over shoes like these Christian Dior ones from Fall 2007. The heel on them is simply stunning.
Here are a few more that I found on www.andreaharner.com. I have no idea who the designers are, so if you do, please let me know!
I find the round bottom on these FANTASTIC. I wonder why, if not because they look insanely painful, more designers don't incorporate a "circle" look into their shoes ...
I can't imagine walking in these, but they look so elegant. Sort of like a ballerina on pointe. These would look fantastic in fashion photography.

I'm loving them all!! I love extremly high heels!!! I just posted pics of my new Oxfords on my blog, they have a 5.5" heel go look!!

ReplyDeletei don't think I could be a shoe designer. I would need to have more of a hand in the physical creation of the shoes. I like the circle look too, expecailly on the horseshoe ones. the ballerina ones, however, just look crippling.

These are all pretty awesome. Not sure about the wearability either, but they're definitey art! The Dior ones are stunning enough to wear for an evening out though I'm sure. CL actually made ballerina ones as well, but they were for an exhibition and I think only worn for an ad campaign. I think Beyonce also wore similar ones on an album cover.

The ballerina shoes make me think of bound feet. They look really painful, and I have no idea how the model is even standing. I wonder if those shoes were ever used in a show (I kinda like to think not).
