For the Seductress in All of Us ...

"I've always thought of the t-shirt as the Alpha and Omega of the fashion alphabet." - Giorgio Armani (Italian fashion designer; b. July 11, 1934)

This spring, an unprecedented style is hitting the runway: bondage. No, not that kind of bondage. I'm talking criss-cross designs, cut outs, and form fitting pieces. (first image) Designers such as Narciso Rodriguez, Rodarte, and Thakoon are dominating the bondage scene, pictured below (second image, respectively).

Narciso Rodriguez's recent collection in particular has caught the eyes of many. Take for instance his Printed Charmeuse Bondage Dress. Priced at $1,950, this seductive black and red dress is sure to turn heads.

Narciso's Linen Jacket is another gorgeous piece. This black and white beauty goes for $1,595. I find this piece particularly stunning because it is one-of-a-kind; it's the only bondage-style jacket I've found.

Thakoon's Shibari Shift Dress ($1,495) showcases the bondage trend as a somewhat classic style, making it perfect for any occasion. Personally, I adore the high neckline.

As the style of bondage used in fashion is relatively new, there are few items as of currently. But this new trend is quickly becoming popular; I'll be sure to update you as it grows!
