Tao Okamoto is such a gorgeous and talented model! I love this shoot from Vogue China's September 2010 issue, photographed by Sølve Sundsbø. Okamoto wears Miu Miu, Givenchy, and Comme des Garçons among many more designers, and she brings a whole new beauty to these designs (which could only really be called works of art!). If I could be any one in the world right now ... well, let's just say Tao is high up on my list. Imagine having your face in two issues of Vogue (US and China) in the same month? She's incredible!
The thing about Tao is her silent versatility. When you first see her shots, you think: Looks wonderful but her hair can't be that versatile. Yet from the unique face and that wonderful dynamic energy that she brings, Tao is more than that. I remember seeing her when she first popped up at Elite and it's such an amazing journey to see her where she is now. Wonderful!
Thank you so much for checking out my blog, Take Me Out to the Runway! I appreciate any feedback you can give me, and I enjoy reading each and every one of your comments. I will do my very best to respond to all of them!
She is stunning. I can't believe I have never heard of her before!! Now I'm going to google Tao and admire more of her gorgeousness! xo
